The current student Community Manager at Antioch College, Ms. Victoria Adams-Cheatham, sent the following message to Antioch Community Members, especially current students, urging all who desire to oppose the Antioch College closedown by the Antioch U. Board Of Trustees set for July 2008 to contact Antioch alumni groups and leaders the CM provides and lists in her communication. Steve Duffy '77, posted this communication on the Antioch alumni chatline today, July 17, 2007.
What follows is a very valuable list of persons available to set up meetings to support Antioch College and keep it open.

Dear Community (mostly students),
I have heard that quite a lot of students have been going to alumni
chapter meetings, and i am glad to hear it. Alumni are going to be
crucial this year, in everyway imaginable. (i will post more about the
events i have in mind in a nother post)
Here is a list of Alumni which may be in your area, who have volunteered
themselves up for information, networking, organizing, etc. They are
listed by state. I would highly encourage using this list and getting in
touch with alumni in your area. This could be to do networking, or it
could be because you want to help with their efforts to save antioch,
whatever the reason, contact them? They would love to hear from you. I
have met so many wonderful alumni this summer. I wish that students could
have been on campus during reunion, because it made me feel better about
the world, in general, to know how many great people, who share the same
core antiochian values, are in the world. Okay now im done being woo woo.
Give your local Alum a call? If you dont see someone listed anywhere
near you and you are thinking to yourself, "man, there is no one even near
me and i would love to call an alumni" send me an email and i will try to
get you connected with someone. Alumni have been amazing in all of this
craziness.
